Stray cats can be seen wandering here and there but the sizzling winter season is what the stray cats never want to come.
An interesting sequence of events happened in Greenland, where a stray cat was spotted, rescued and was even given a name.

In Greenland, some volunteers were passing by streets of Nuuk, when a stray cat got their attention in extreme weather. No doubt, shelter in such an environment is the basic need of every creature.
And the same act of kindness was observed by these volunteers when they brought this cat to shelter Dyrenes Venner. The shelter, Dyrenes Venner, makes an interpretation of “Defender of Animals in Greenland”.
Inunnquaq Christiansen, a board member at Dyrenes Venner, told in an interview to The Dodo that stray and lost animals go through worst environmental conditions here in Greenland, especially during in winters.
Moreover, Inunnquaq also stressed on the issue of finding a safe and warm shelter for such stray animals.
After the stray cat, wandering in the streets of Nuuk was rescued and brought to a safe shelter, the volunteers named this stray cat as” Ulla”.
Ulla was enjoying its stay in such a warm and friendly shelter, she was provided. Membe of shelter board, Christiansen expressed himself as, “I brought my very own pooch, Yaris, to the shelter house one time and Ulla promptly hopped on the confine”.
Ulla is basically more than a year old, very kind and loving to her rescuers. But the big surprise for all was yet to come when Ulla started putting on weight at a greater speed. At that point the surprise was about to come, Ulla was unexpectedly pressing on the pounds in a single explicit spot.
Christiansen further told the details about the remarks of volunteers that Ulla was getting really huge.
After closely monitoring the area, it was found that most of the weight, she gained was around the gut region and her areoles got solid.
This was the right moment to take her to the doctor. After an ultrasound, it was found that Ulla is going to be the mother soon.
Tone Frank, who is also a board member at the shelter house, captured the reaction of Ulla in his phone and shared these wonderful images with her colleagues.
But, these reactions became an internet sensation when were shared on Reddit. Ulla became viral in no time and won the hearts of many people, and finally got an adoptive family for her.
