We all know that cats live in a world of their own.
In their eyes, they probably think of you as the pet. You can’t really order them around and when they want something they look at you with those sad, accusing eyes, almost as if they were wondering how they got stuck with an owner as clueless as you are. And if you still don’t get it, they’re just as likely to bite or scratch you to get their point across.
But even if you’re not really a cat person, the following video is sure to be an amusing sight. The cat here actually plays the guitar in order to wake up his owner!
Watch the video of the cat below.

It’s not just some tentative pawing, either. He actually pulls on several strings to get a loud sound going.
It’s probably better than the cat sitting their butt on the owner’s face but at least they don’t need an alarm clock with this smart yet mischievous feline around. And the way the cat looked back was hilarious as if it was saying, “Hey, time to get up. Get it?”
And that’s the interesting thing about cats. They are lazy animals who can sleep from 15 to 19 hours a day. And when they decide it’s time for a nap, anywhere is pretty much fair game as long as they think it will serve as a comfortable bed for them, even if that place happens to be your actual bed and you need to use it!
But when they decide it’s time to wake up, then you should also be up and about with them to give them their favorite food or let them out to play. While other cats will make do with rubbing their body on your legs, licking away at your face, or occasionally smothering you with their big fat butt, this one decides to be a little suaver by actually using a tool. And not just any tool but a musical instrument at that!
It’s unclear if the owner actually taught this cat to use the guitar (props to the owner if they were able to do even that) but regardless of how the cat came by the idea of using the guitar, it’s a really fun and genius move.
Let’s just hope that this isn’t one of those branded guitars that cost thousands of dollars because those cat scratches will definitely lower its value.
But being able to see this cat strum those strings was priceless so maybe it’s actually a fair exchange! A at would definitely think so.
