Demonstrating against the government is how the civilians say they are not happy with a move government made.
This is the only way commoners can be heard by the government but when people including catholic activists got down for a demonstration against Trump, more than 70 activists including priests and nuns were arrested on the charge of illegal demonstration.
Trump’s government has always given people reason to fight against him and this time the activists were fighting on the behalf of the immigrant children who died in the detention of south borders because of the laws Trump government made.
The protest took place at Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. where more than 70 activists came along this Thursday to join hands in the fight they all wished to fight because it was ethically unacceptable to them.
They came along and chanted the names of all the children who have lost their lives in the detention centers under Trump’s rule.
Several protesters came along and lied on the floor of the building in order to make a cross on the floor. This became offensive and the police arrested 70 protesters for carrying out an illegal protest.
They were caught in zip-tie handcuffs and were then escorted from the premises because of the same.
The protesters were all highly religious and while they were being taken away by the police all of them got united and started praying the lord’s name.
Several catholic followers, sisters, and brothers were present at the venue and were addressing the crowd before the police started making the arrests.
One sister addressed to the crowd said: “It was our prime duty to be here today, our Lord would not have forgiven us if we were not here today.”
