While most people are dog lovers, there is also a significant part of the pet-loving population that is into cats.
But even if you’re a cat-lover yourself, you have to admit that cats display behavior that sets them apart from other pets. For one thing, while a dog, for example, might joyously run and greet you once you come home, a cat is just as likely to stare at you as if you did something wrong and then turn its back on you.

Still, cats are hilarious in their own way and their antics are just as likely to bring a smile on your face the same way dogs would. And in this particular video, a gang of curious cats went out to check a pair of toy singing birds that the owner apparently had just installed in the house.
As the birds happily tweet along, first one, then two, then the entire gang of felines show up, sniffing, staring and then eventually climbing up to the perch where the “birds” are. They’re probably wondering what this latest intrusion is and we can’t help but chuckle at how confounded they seem to be.
But cats are curious by nature, which is why there’s a phrase “curiosity killed the cat.” This is because sometimes, they are so curious that they forget about their own safety.
One thing that drives this curiosity is that cats hate surprises when it occurs in what they deem to be their territory or home. That’s why don’t be surprised if you bought a new vase or brought home a kitten and your cat pretty much gets all worked up about it.
“There are those that can be very stressed, but it is not that they are sick, but it is a behavior that responds to its feline nature of wanting to have controlled and stable its territory to the maximum.” Whenever this happens, “it is convenient to use diffusers of the aroma of feline facial hormone that provokes the well-being of the animal. It is the same smell that the cat gives off through his cheeks when he rubs them against objects or people.”
One other thing about cats is that they love holes and small spaces which has generated all those funny memes asking if cats are liquid or solid. It’s part of their innate curiosity and predatory instinct which makes them want to explore hidden places.
This is also one reason why birds and cats generally don’t make a good combination in the house. A cat would like the challenge of “hunting” that bird and finally going in for the kill. So take note of that before you get both a bird and a cat!
