Hot Tea Can Be A Primary Cause of Esophageal Cancer


90% of the people from all over the world drinking tea which is above the temperature of 60 degrees have higher risks of getting affected with cancer.

This has been proven through studies by following over 50000 people in the last decade. Most of the people throughout the United States and the United Kingdom usually drink tea and other beverages below that temperature.

This is mainly because hot and boiling water tends to cause immense damage to the food pipelining which ultimately results in tumors.

Drinking piping hot beverages like tea and coffee double the risk of getting affected with cancer and this are issued as a warning by the researchers. The type of cancer that affects people is the gullet cancer.

In order to avoid these circumstances, one can wait for their hot beverages to cool down, at least below 60 degrees before they start sipping into it.

This research and study were led out in Iran by the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. They added to the array of the other researches that took place across the globe to draw the same conclusion.

This is the first time when this conclusion has been derived from a series of researches and studies that have been implemented over people from around the world over the decades.

The most common cause of cancer seen worldwide is esophageal cancer, and it is on the eight spots in the list of cancer which has caused death to millions.

Based on the researches derived from hot beverages like coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, the researchers concluded their findings.

This news has also been recognized through the International Journal of Cancer publishing as the study revealed the habits towards drinking hot beverages of approximately 50000 people between the ages of 40 years to 75 years in the North-eastern part of Iran.

The studies were followed up with pieces of evidence in the span of 2004 to 2017 that concluded 314 lives at the risk of being affected by esophageal cancer. This type of cancer was commonly seen to be affecting the food pipe of humans.
