Netflix Cheer star Jerry Harris is currently under FBI investigation after he allegedly solicited explicit photos and sex from two young boys from Texas.
14-year-old Sam and Charlie claim they were harassed by Harris online and at cheer competitions when they were only 13 and the actor was 19.
Sources told USA Today that federal agents executed a search warrant at the actor’s Illinois home as part of the investigation.
Harris, 21, has not publicly commented on the allegations and investigation.
According to USA Today, the company’s chief legal officer Burton Brilhart said Varsity had found out about the ‘inappropriate sexual conduct’ allegations against the Cheer docuseries star and was disclosing the information as required.
Brillhart wrote: “As a result of the recent allegation, we have barred this person from having any affiliation with Varsity Brands or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, now and in the future.”
The letters included two screenshots. The first Snapchat image is accompanied with words ‘Would you ever want to f***’ while the second photo shows a series of text messages showing ‘jerry harris’ writing: “Hey btw I found a place for us to do stuff it’s actually pretty good haha.”
More details from the messages were revealed. Replying to a photo of Charlie posing with his leg stretched above the head, the account wrote: “Do it naked and take a video and show me.”
Charlie told USA Today that the contact left him with anxiety. “It was just eating me alive,” he said. “It was just making me so gross and uncomfortable. Every time I saw his name or something like that, I was just cringing about it.”
