Whether it is a corporate house or a restaurant chains, everyone is keen to camp for their favorite political leader in the best way possible.
Some students from North Carolina high school had to pay a hefty price for campaigning for trump. The cheerleading squad was put on probation for showcasing a banner with “Trump 2020” written on it.
The cheerleaders held up a flag in support of the President before a football match held in their school. The squad was placed on probation right after their political act.
The members from the cheerleading posed with the banner supporting Donald Trump that bagged them instant probation. The banner had “Trump 2020: make America Great Again” written on it.
The photo of the cheerleading gang was instantly posted and spread across the social media platforms, and that’s when North Carolina High School decided to take action against the squad.
According to the reports, the cheerleading squads will be on probation for a year but will be cheering for the team as usual.
The school administration department has cleared that probation is not a form of punishment to the students but a warning to not repeat such act in the future.
The athletic department has further mentioned that if the cheerleading squad continues to showcase political banners, then strict action will be taken against them in the form of suspension.
Jeff James, district superintendent, stated that school staff had no contribution in making such banners it was completely an initiative taken from the students.
The officer further warned the students by saying they should focus on football games and how to cheer for the respective team rather than boasting their political view in a playground.
There was a section of students who were outraged by the decision of placing the students on probation. They posted pictures and captions appealing other students to come to join the football match and support the cheerleading squad.
