Long-haul flights are a chore.
Dealing with all the luggage, the crowds, and then the stifling flight (unless you’re one of the lucky few in First Class or Business Class) can easily sap your strength once you reach your destination. And that’s not counting the jet lag from time zone differences.
Add in unruly children or crying babies and your flight becomes a nightmare. But on August 26, 2017, passengers on this Lufthansa flight from Germany to the US had no idea that they would be subjected to an experience that would take them to the limits of their sanity.
Even before the flight took off, a child was already screaming and hopping off the tops of the seats and the mother couldn’t control the kid. Unable to bear it, artist Shane Townley recorded a video and uploaded it, going so far as to describe the child’s screams as “demonic.”
Even more horrifying for the passengers, the kid never got tired and was screaming the WHOLE EIGHT HOURS of the flight.
How would you react if another passenger’s child was acting this way and they couldn’t control him/her?
It wasn’t clear if the child had some disability although, from the way he acted, that seemed to be the case. It was a very difficult situation and hopefully, it’s something that none of us ever have to go through.
