China has recently faced the severe repercussion of a SARS-like virus.
This particular virus has killed three people in China as of now.
The origin of this virus is supposed to have come from the Huanan Wholesale Seafood Market which is located in Wuhan city.
As of now, at least 222 people have been detected positive with this particular virus in the Asian continent.
Not only China is witnessing the brunt of this killer virus which simulates with the various symptoms of Pneumonia, but some other nations as well.
Some of these nations are Japan and South Korea.
Professor Zhong Nanshan, an eminent scientist of the National Health Commission of China stated that this virus is seeming to be highly contagious and, hence, can spread from one person to another.
As reports say, the outbreak of this virus is supposed to have originated from an animal source in the seafood market.
Mr. Nanshan also said that the number of patients whose test results were positive in terms of the presence of this virus has culminated from 48 to 222.
This means that the disease can pose a major threat to a large part of southern China.
Hopefully, this will compel millions of Chinese dwellers to travel abroad to get treated accordingly.
There was a team of 14 medical practitioners altogether who were successful in identifying the virus from the various patients they were treating.
Professor Zhong continued by saying that the coronavirus has already shown its negative repercussions on some of the medical team as well.
Two patients inherited this virus from their family members first residing in Guangdong.
Hopefully, the widespread outbreak of this particular pathogen can be curbed within a short while and China won’t have to witness rampant deaths as a result of it.
