Chris Evans already made his fans crazy with his role of Captain America, a Nazi-fighting symbol of moral purity, in the MCU films.
But his fans became crazier when they saw Chris Evans in a very different mood on Saturday when the 38-year-old actor took a break from the stage during ACE Comic-Con in Washington to hug a fan’s dog.
‘CHRIS EVANS RUNNING OFF THE STAGE TO HUG A DOG IN AN IRON MAN COSTUME IS THE purest INTERACTION TO EVER EXIST,’ tweeted @voiidmarvel, after sharing a video of the interaction.
The unexpected moment happened when the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World actor spied a fan’s German Shepherd who was dressed in an Iron Man costume during the fan question segment of the day.
‘Hey pal,’ said Evans as he came down to hug the excited pooch.
Fans took to social media immediately to share their views on animal lover’s reaction.
‘SOMEONE PLEASE MARRY HIM BEFORE I DO,’ tweeted @AmandaLind03 after watching the adorable clip.
‘This is just so pure and the cute baby cuddling with @ChrisEvans is just so adorable I don’t even have words what a beautiful moment,’ tweeted @NainaSalvatore.
Meanwhile, last week it was revealed that Mark Wahlberg may take over Chris Evan’s role in the new film, Infinite.
The Avengers star said yes to the role in February, but reportedly had to back out due to other commitments with his Apple TV series, Defending Jacob, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is based on the book, The Reincarnation Papers, according to Variety.
The book, ‘centers on the Cognomina, is a secret society of people who possess total recall of their past lives. A troubled young man haunted by memories of two past lives stumbles upon the centuries-old society and decides to join their ranks.’
Production begins soon, and the film is set to premiere in August of next year.
Chris is currently filming his TV series, Defending Jacob, which is the reason for his conflict with Infinite.
He’s already wrapped up The Red Sea Diving Resort and Knives Out.
Following his next projects, he’ll star in Jekyll as Tom Jackman, the only living descendant of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, who makes a deal with the dark side, according to IMDB.
