Chrissy Teigen was left in tears after her friends revealed they donated blood in honor of her late son, baby Jack.
Following her return to social media, the 34-year-old model showed off her brand-new tattoo in honor of her late son who passed away after her hospitalization due to excessive bleeding.
Now, the supermodel also revealed how she was left in tears after finding out her friends donated the same amount of blood she was given during her pregnancy complications.
“Ok, I tried writing this 4 times but the tears were too much. Here we go again, with my heart full of warmth and happiness,” Teigen wrote in her post in which she shared photos of her friends donating blood.
“My friend @kimmiekyees sent me this with the caption ‘Me and 6 of my friends donated blood to replace the 7 pints you were given in the hospital, in honor of baby Jack. I love you friend ?’”
As the model added, she is overwhelmed by her friends and the kindness they have shown to her and her family throughout the years.
“The love I feel for each and every person in our circle actually makes me ache.
@kimmiekyees, I’ve known you for so many years now. You know every story, you hear every life gripe, you’re amazing at what you do but the way you treat my kids and family is cherished always. To do something like this for baby jack is just… I dunno.
Beautiful,” Teigen added.
Concluding her message, the 34-year-old added: “Kimmie, I love you. I love this. I am so proud of the people I surround myself and my family with.”
The heartfelt post follows shortly after the model showed off her brand-new tattoo inspired by her late son. As the 34-year-old revealed in a heartbreaking photo she shared on Instagram, the name ‘Jack’ was inked on the inner side of her right arm just beneath the wrist.
The tattoo is located next to the name of Chrissy’s husband, John Legend, and the names of their two children, Miles and Luna.
