Well, as your kids grow, you must teach them the true value of money, and, Rachael Riley, an ardent social media blogger has exactly epitomized this act.

 

She currently gives both her sons 20p each for making their bed every Saturday, 10p for sweeping the kitchen, as well as 5p for each for keeping themselves clean and tidy all the time.

This isn’t the first time this budding mom is following this approach on her kids.

Rachael made her sons put a piece of dry pasta into a jar one after the other until it was full.

She, in fact, rewarded both her sons with a sum of £5 for each. 

Rachael also told the reporters that she doesn’t mind spending a few pennies against getting these household tasks done as she has a complete apathy both for making beds and for packing the lunch boxes for her children.

Both the boys earn a sum of £2.50 at the end of each week for keeping their individual bedrooms neat and tidy.

 

They only receive the pocket money at the end of each week, which invariably happens to be a Friday.

After Rachael posted this on social media, the response she got from her followers and people over the internet were mind-boggling. 

One mother commented on the post and said that nothing can be a better tool than money in this current era of the millennial generation and they understand the monetary language quite well.

Rachael is feeling quite ecstatic at the moment for the fact that her idea has been accepted whole-heartedly by so many mothers out there, which she didn’t expect the case to be.

 

So, you too can be the next mom this time to teach your children some discipline and the art of staying clean simply by spending a few pennies on them.
