What were you up to when you were 20-years old? You were probably studying at a university, working a part-time job or taking year-off spending your days on the couch?
Well, at that tender age, what more can you expect, but that is not the case with George King. At the age of 20, he was planning to perform a stunt that would capture the attention of the world.
Last year in July, he climbed on the London Skyscraper, the tallest building in the UK with no support but his hands, guts and a strong belief that it could be accomplished.
Whether you call it stupidity, bravery or recklessness, we have to admit; it is a feast to watch.
Once he arrived at the top of the viewing platform, which is approximately 243 meters over the ground below, he was welcomed by the police. Without any resistant King offered his wrist for the handcuffs.
However, police did not arrest him; instead helped him to move over the edge and let go. While there were no criminal charges against him, it was not the end of the story.
After three months of the incident, a personal trainer from Oxford was jailed in the HMP Pentonville, a category B prison located in North London.
In an interview, the man shared with us how he planned his climb on to the tower and what happened afterward, what his life has been like until he was released at the beginning of 2020.
When asked why he would risk his life to do such things; his simple reply was he always wanted to know how it felt to move out of his comfort zone. It started with climbing a tree, and with every passing year, he began to take the complexity a notch up.
