A Pub Company Joined Hands With Coca-Cola To Treat Designated Drivers On Christmas

Christmas season is just around the corner but things have changed a lot!

The same holiday season that was once filled with excitement, vigor, and joy now consists of being lazy and trying to remain isolated as far as possible.

When it is time to go out, everyone is up for getting a bottle of beer or a shot of Vodka.

But there is someone who cannot hit the booze while wandering the streets on Christmas – the designated drivers tasked with the duty to carry all the drunk friends and family around.

While, obviously, no one is going to let the drivers get a drink even for money, there’s something that the designated drivers can get without payment.

To celebrate a decade of their partnership, Coca-Cola and Greene King have come up with an attractive offer for the designated drivers.

According to the generous offer, anyone who shows the keys of their car and abstains from drinking alcoholic beverages is entitled to get a free voucher on purchase of a soft drink.

The voucher can be exchanged for a free coke, non-alcoholic Heineken, or diet coke.

Drink driving is, obviously, a big no. That’s why Greene King and Coca-Cola are making an effort to entertain those who skip drinking on the festival for the safety and enjoyment of others.

Associate Director of Coca-Cola Paul Robertson said in a press release: “We’d like to thank Greene King for partnering with us for the last 10 years on the Designated Driver campaign and continuing to evolve the platform to ensure it remains relevant to today’s consumers.

“Greene King should be applauded for its continued leadership in helping to promote responsible drinking and embracing the role soft drinks can play across its estate, especially on the lead up to Christmas. Here’s to another 10 years of partnership.”
