Pope Francis’ coffin was recently sealed, right ahead of his funeral tomorrow morning.
The religious pontiff who passed away on Monday at the age of 88 will be buried following a funeral service attended by global leaders who are jetting off to Rome to pay their final respects.
Since his death, more than 250,000 mourners were said to have viewed his body over the past three days.
The final mourners got the chance to see him up close before his coffin was closed in private. At 7 pm local time, the public was given access to view his coffin, closed.

The liturgical rite, presided over by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, will signal the end of public viewing of the coffin.
The cardinals present at the sealing of the coffin were named beforehand. The sealed coffin will remain in St. Peter’s Basilica until Saturday morning.
