A contestant on MasterChef Spain has been eliminated from the show after she allegedly served a dead bird to the judges.
In case you don’t know about the show, MasterChef Spain is a Spanish reality television cooking series which brings together skilled chefs from around the country.
The chefs compete to create mouth-watering culinary dishes, that are capable of increasing the heartbeats of even distant viewers.
In each episode of the series, the chefs are asked to prepare a dish using only what’s provided to them.
Recently, one contestant of the show took things to a completely different level.
Saray was apparently not comfortable with plucking out the feathers of a dead partridge. So, instead of taking great pains, she served the bird in an unplucked, uncooked condition.
She topped her dish off by covering the partridge with a sauce and cherry tomatoes, just to keep things a little presentable we guess.
When Saray handed over her ‘meal,’ she clearly had the look that she’s had enough.
As you could probably guess, the judges, as well as the rest of the contestants, were shocked to see what was folding in front of them.
“This is never seen in MasterChef,” one of the judges remarked.
After having a not so pleasant conversation with the judges on the show, Saray bid her final goodbye and left the stage.
The bizarre incident went viral soon after it was shared on social media.
“MasterChef Spain is more exciting than the British version!” one user quipped.
“Contestant serves up an uncooked, unplucked partridge because she´s pissed off that her effort in the previous round was rubbished by the judges.”
Another said: “I do not understand, they would have to try the dish, expelling someone without tasting it does not seem fair.”
Someone who wasn’t on the same page as Saray, said: “It was a big mistake to get into the program.
“But once inside, she made it clear to her level and her class as a person: 0. 0 education, 0 respect, 0 knowing how to be, 0 cooking, 0 responsibility. It is ridiculous and embarrassing.”
Replaced!
