We all remember the cookie-selling people since they have been our favorites since our childhood.
In that row, we have Ronnie Backenstoe trying to sell cookies as girl scouts since 1932, and what is unbelievable is that she is still enthusiastically doing it.
The 98-year-old girl scout joined the youth organization more than eight decades ago, and she has been doing the job of selling cookies for as long as you can remember.
This report is according to the Pennsylvania new station.
She has excelled in her salesmanship at the retirement home in Pennsylvania recently.
In an interview, she says that she was a Girl Scouts in 1932, and she has been waiting for the moment to become one, and when she turned 10, she started being one.
She’s been working so hard and worked all the way up to become in the director of Camp Mosey Wood and currently serving as the field director and several counties.
After 45 years of contribution to the active scouting, she retired in the year 1976.
However, she has a strong belief that the core mission of the girl scout team is to empower the future generation.
She believes that this program helps young individuals understand financial literacy and help themselves in building leadership skills, which means this entire program is effective in planning a successful future.
Also, as an audience, when you purchase cookies from the girls, you are encouraging them to become female entrepreneurs and boosting the confidence to do more.
She is still making sure that she is contributing enough to the scouting program helping the young individuals shape their careers better off.
She also believes that this is more of a learning experience than simply cookie selling, and her story has inspired many people to join the program.
