Even cops aren’t immune to hilarious mishaps as can be seen in this video of a police officer using a battering ram to rescue a colleague who got trapped in the bathroom:

The funny video was shared on social media through the site “UK Cop Humor.” The trapped police officer’s colleagues could be seen laughing in a line as one officer makes his way to the bathroom carrying a large red metal battering ram.
As the officer nears the bathroom, he calls out to his bummed out colleague behind the door: “Are your trousers up or what?”
This elicits laughter in the background.
Not hearing a response, the officer repeats his question, “Are you ready or what?”
To which his trapped colleague replies with a muffled “yes.”
The officer needs only one swift swing to bring down the bathroom door and save the day for his colleague.
Sheepishly emerging from the cubicle, the freed officer thanks his friend for saving him amid the cheers of the other officers in the background.
Battering rams were used in ancient times to batter down the gates or walls of a besieged castle or city. It’s usually made of timber but modern ones are frequently made of metal and can be handled by one person.
Nowadays, battering rams are informally known as “the big red key” in Britain and are an essential tool among SWAT teams and police forces to force entry into locked premises.
Modern battering rams are made of tubular steel and weigh around 16 kilos. They can concentrate a force of more than 3 tons of impact force to door locks.
The incredible force that the ram can generate is clearly seen in the video as only one swing was necessary to fling the door open.
