There are many ways to help out people who need support, such as providing them with food and donating money, all the while giving them moral consolation.
People saw a homeless man was caught huddling at a gas station in Phoenix, Arizona, and reported him to the police.
Officer Mark Valenzuela responded to the call, and when he saw the man, he asked to see what was going on.
But before the homeless man replied, Officer Valenzuela noticed something terrible about the man.
He did not have any shoes on, and his feet was ripped raw.

It turned out that the homeless man had been living barefoot for days – and because the pain was so intolerable, he could not take another step.
So, Officer Valenzuela asked the shoe size of the homeless man, and learned that they both had the same shoe size.
What happened next was so inspiring that someone near them decided to take a photo and share it online.
Instead of arresting the man, the officer asked the homeless to take a seat, then offered him his own set of shoes.
He even proceeded to kneel down in front of him to help him put on the shoes.
Even when this story went viral online, this incredibly generous officer stayed humble.

“He was just very thankful. I could see a little bit of money in his pocket, he had some dollar bills and some change,” said Valenzuela. He added, “He wanted to pay me for the shoes and I just told him there were a gift from God.”
