Cops in America arrested a criminal after they learned about his hiding spot from a loud fart.
Yes, it was a noisy guff that led to the hilarious arrest.
The Liberty Police Department of Missouri was in search of a person for allegedly possessing a controlled substance.
And while the cops were searching a house they believed him to be at, they came across his hiding spot after he farted too loudly.
The story was confirmed by a spokesperson for Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Taking to the force’s official Facebook page, the police wrote: “If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a sh** day.”
They later added: “We’ve gotta give props to Liberty PD for using their senses to sniff him out!”
As soon as the post emerged, it went viral, with Internet laughing out at the ‘events’ leading to the arrest and praising the force for their amazing work.
“I never laughed out loud so much in my life,” one internet user wrote.
“It took my 20 minutes to tell my husband what was so funny and now he can’t stop laughing, by the way he’s a retired OHP officer. I love you guy.”
