Coronation Street provides a new twist to all the viewers, where the worried granddaughter Alya, played by Sair Khan, is trying to get her grandmother Yasmeen out of the house and she is all fired up to put on a fight as well.
In one picture, Yasmeen is seen tugging away a bag. In another snap, it shows that Alya receives support from Toyah when she reports Geoff to the authorities.
Alya appeared to be concerned over her grandmother as she gives her statement to the police. This is all because she was desperate to save her grandmother from the controlling villain.
Last week on Coronation Street, it was revealed that Alya will come to learn about Geoff that he is the one who is writing all the Speed Daal reviews. This happened right after she noticed spellings mistakes in the menu identical to each other.
Alya’s level of suspicion rises to another level when she finds her grandmother, Yasmeen defending Geoff after she challenges the couple and after she confides in Ryan and Eileen.
Alya was also horrified to learn from Eileen that Geoff trapped Yasmeen inside the magic box for several hours, and she later realizes that Yasmeen is abused by Geoff.
Insights have been provided that Alya will do more digging on Geoff’s background, and she is very determined to discover a good deal of evidence against him.
She starts her job by trying to save her grandmother from her abuser. Many Coronation Street fans were not happy by the distressing scenes in the show.
The scenes showed Yasmeen crying over her pet chicken that was killed by Geoff, and he tricked her into eating it. This was not taken well by the fans and many of them expressed their disappointment.
