Bill Bryan, the Advisor at DHS Science and Technology in a statement said that their research has come up with an important observation that highlights the potentials of solar light in killing the coronavirus in air and on surfaces.

He further added that they had seen a similar effect where increasing temperature, as well as humidity, become less favorable to the deadly virus.

The study reveals that the virus cannot survive in direct sunlight, and it lives best in closed conditions. It also explains that disinfectants like bleaches can kill the virus quickly.

Donald Trump even suggested that coronavirus patients should be injected with disinfectant. The statement attracted a lot of criticism as the disinfectant can severely harm humans.

Bryan, in his statement, advised people on how to best sanitize their homes. He said that bleach could kill the virus within five minutes, whereas if they use isopropyl alcohol, the virus will die within 30 seconds.

The DHS will continue to study further on the virus in saliva and how it reacts to different substances and environments. While high-sunlight conditions will reduce the transmission of the virus, Americans are not yet safe to return to their normal outings.

Bryan said it would be irresponsible to assert that summers will absolutely kill the virus and people are free to go out and ignore the guidance.

There is also a video that shows the White House Coronavirus Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx reacting to the President’s statement of treating humans with disinfectants.

Brix is seen looking at the Bryan and then awkwardly at the ground when Trump comes up to speak. At one point, he even looked at the doctor and said that he would like for her to speak to other doctors, and if they can apply light and geat to cure the virus.

When asked if she was aware of using a disinfectant, she refused to know it is used as a treatment.
