A Chinese nurse in charge of treating coronavirus patients has asked the authorities to help her get a boyfriend once the outbreak passes.
The bizarre request was made by Tian Fangfang, a 30-year-old nurse who posed in a hazmat suit as she shared her written request on a piece of paper and posted it on social media in hopes of getting attention from the government.
“[I hope] the country can assign me a boyfriend when the epidemic is over,” the request that she shared at the end of her shift read.
Soon enough, Fangfang’s unusual request went viral and she admitted feeling surprised that “the whole nation now knows I am looking for a partner.”
In an interview with Ren Jian Zhi Bei, the 30-year-old has opened up about her wishes and revealed she hopes to get a tall boyfriend due to being 5ft 6ins which is above average for a Chinese woman.
While Fangfang is excited to get over with the coronavirus outbreak and return back to her normal life, she admitted her current priority is taking care of her patients.
“I am indeed I looking for a boyfriend, but right now my focus is to do my job well and do what a nurse should do. That is to help Wuhan people overcome the difficulties and beat the virus together,” she said.
