This year several companies have called back their products after dispatching them to the market because of the possibilities of contamination.
Recently, E. Coli was spreading throughout and now Costco and Kroger have a doubt that their product might have contamination of Hepatitis A.
Because of the same, the company is now calling back the packages they have sent out to the market. The product that has been found with the possibility of contamination is Three Berry Blend.
Yes, their signature product is the one that is under threat and because of the same they have recalled Four-pound of sacks of berries.
The packets with the dates between February 16, 2020, and May 4, 2020, are the ones under major worry. But the recall is limited to a few states and not the entire nation.
The states namely are New Mexico, Los Angeles, Arizona, San Diego, Hawaii, and Nevada.
FDA and CDC say that until now there have been no reports of people falling sick because of any kind of product from Townsend Farms, Inc. and the berries count in the same too.
FDA is asking people to not consume the berries for primary. FDA is encouraging people to refund the packs and get them back to the company. FDA is also asking people to click a picture of the packets to keep them in the record.
