A wedding photographer has shared an email of an engaged couple who wanted to include a weird clause in their contract with the photographer.
The couple wanted the photographer to give them a full refund if they ever get divorced as they would not need the photos if it ever happens.
The wedding photographer shared the email he received from the couple on Reddit that reads:
“Hello. My fiance and I are looking for a wedding photographer but are having some issues with the contracts we are coming across. We are wanting a clause that guarantees us a refund should we ever get divorced, since we would not need the photos in that situation.”
“Please let me know if this is something you have in your contract or would be willing to add. Thank you.”
People were left shocked and criticized the couple for the bizarre clause. One user commented: “Everyone who attends the wedding and gives a gift should get the gift back or a refund. Where’s that clause dirtbag?”
Another user said: “A marriage between people this petty has no chance of survival” while the third one wrote: “But I bet this couple would make an awesome reality show.”
Another wedding photographer shared his own story when he got a request from a woman who was waiting for her boyfriend’s proposal but wanted to book him in advance.
The photographer wrote: “One of the funnier emails I have gotten… ‘Hello. I just started dating this guy and I am hoping to get him to propose within the next year and get married within two years.’”
‘“How do I book you when I’m not sure when is the wedding day going to be? This psycho got a second date and she’s already planning the wedding.”’
