Remodeling an old house instead of building a new one is now more of a trend.
It has many benefits but is one of the most difficult jobs altering the previous foundations.
Remodeling a house is a bit of a chore and can strain out your bank balance and altering its foundations may lead you to come across a lot of issues.
A mess is always guaranteed, and if you are unlucky, burst pipes, holes in walls, and broken floorboards are just the beginning.
Well, these are some common issues faced by the new homeowners. But what isn’t common is that finding a message from the previous homeowners asking the new homeowners ‘what’s wrong with the way we did it?’
You won’t believe, but this is something one married couple discovered when they were renovating the old bathroom of their newly bought house.
Jess and Alex Monney from San Francisco Bay Area were renovating their bathroom when they came across a surprising message from the former owners of the house.
The message was discovered when the contractor was stripping the bathroom wall.
Apparently, the house was previously owned by the Shinseki’s which they remodeled in 1995. The message read – if you are reading this message, it means that you are refurbishing the bathroom again. What’s wrong with the bathroom the way we did it?
Things were already getting strange for Jess and Alex, but it got even weirder when they found another note left by the former family’s pet rabbit, Cassie who thoughtfully added that she lived here too and was potty trained!
Charmed and enthralled by this, Alex took pictures of the notes and uploaded them on social media. The post has been liked over 80,000 times since it was first posted.
