The times are extremely hard for the human race.
What came out as a tiny virus has now turned into a pandemic that has killed more than 65,000 people around the globe, and has made 1,500,000 people fall sick and has locked billions of people inside their homes in self-isolation.
This is a war that humankind has to fight together by staying away from each other until the virus is completely wiped out of our beautiful world.
People are trying to cope up with the situation in different ways. Some are eating, some are busy reading, some are trying to get fitter, and some are busy binge-watching their favorite shows and movies.
But this couple decided to do something exceptional and they rocked it.
Filippo and Marianna are a couple that lives in London crafted “The Gerbil Museum.”
The two outstanding creatives built a museum for their pet Gerbils straight out of paper and cardboard. What more? They even recreated some of the masterpieces in the world in mouse art.
They recreated Vermeer’s iconic “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, Da Vinci’s invincible “Mona Lisa”, Munch’s exceptional work “The Scream”, and Klimt’s extraordinary “The Kiss”. These paintings were all in mouse forms.
Their pets Pandoro and Tiramisù seemed to enjoy the museum a lot. They also had special instructions on the boards asking Pandoro and Tiramisù to not chew the paintings.
Upon asking, Filippo said that he and his partner are Italian but are living in London. He said that Marianna works in the retail industry and he is working at the V&A Museum.
Talking about his pets, he said that the two love spending time together. He said that the two brothers are just 9 months old and they are together all the time.
They take naps together, they chew together and now they are enjoying the museum together to. It is like a dream-come-true for these two.
