If you look up ‘Couple goals’ on the internet, the stories and pictures that you’d come across will be either related to traveling or eating out.
But this couple has redefined those goals by setting up an example that has taken the internet by storm and couples can’t stop applauding their stories.
Jasmine Parent and her partner, Jeremy Crawley made a pact in January 2018 that as part of their new year’s resolution, they will follow a strict diet plan and will lose weight for the good.
Both of them weighed almost 300lbs each but the idea behind this pact came after Jasmine saw an unflattering picture of herself taken during Christmas 2017. She told to a media group, ‘I didn’t want to post it. I was embarrassed.
’
Jasmine had a really bad diet and was eating quite unhealthy food. Moreover, she turned to food after her father died.
By the time she delivered her 2nd baby, she was weighing 300lbs, even more than her husband. She said, ‘I looked at myself in the mirror and I was in so much pain. My knees were shot. My back hurt and I was tired.’
On the other hand, Jeremy was also weighing around 300lbs and was struggling with her weight too. Both of them found a 21-day meal plan and they decided to try out and stick to it no matter what happens. And within just 1st month, Jasmine lost 17lbs while Jeremy shed 20lbs.
They didn’t take help from any physician and decided to do everything themselves since they realized that daily exercise and a good diet could definitely help them get back in a good shape.
And within just 10 months, Jasmine lost around 120lbs while Jeremy lost 90lbs. If you do a comparison of their 1-year-old photo with the recent photos, you won’t believe your eyes that they are the same couple.
Their story has already inspired thousands of people who are also struggling to lose weight.
When Jasmine was asked how did she make it, she replied, “There are so many diets and fads and things people want you to put your money in but there is no quick fix. It is going to be hard and it is going to take work, but it is worth it.”
