Christopher Rimmer and Viktorija Vakulenko met through a dating site – Christian Dating for Free – and they are getting married one month after their first meeting.

The couple, both 34-year-old and church ministers, started chatting through the site and met after a few days.
Just one month after their first meeting, Christopher proposed Viktorija at Southport Pier where they had their first date.
Christopher said about the proposal: “The view in the Pavilion was just beautiful, it was a beautiful day. I went and spoke to the staff and said I’m going to propose in the next 15 minutes, can you get the video on a phone.”
“They were very nice and they made our day special. They even blessed us with a bottle of Prosecco.”
Christopher and Viktorija both were looking for a partner when they first met through the dating site.
Christopher was looking for a partner to get married through the dating site for a few years while Viktorija made an account just a few weeks before meeting Christopher.
Christopher Rimmer said: “That’s why we were using the Christian dating site because that’s what we wanted: to meet someone to get married. I think this is cheesy, but I actually fell in love with her profile.”
“We were chatting on the site but then I added her on Facebook and was looking through her pictures.”
Christopher says their interests are the same as they both like science, astronomy, space, and stars but their main common interest is faith.
Christopher and Viktorija are set to get married soon. The couple plans to open their own church in Southport after getting married.
Christopher said: “We’re ecstatic. If you would have told me six months ago I would be getting engaged and opening a church in Southport, I would’ve said you’re on another planet.”
