Courteney Cox posted a cute selfie of herself and TV husband Matthew Perry as the two Friends’ stars reunited after a long time on Thursday.

Cox, 55, played Monica Geller and Perry, 50, portrayed Chandler Bing, her husband, in the hit comedy series. In the show, they married each other and moved out of New York City to bring up their adopted children.

Cox shared the photo with an interesting caption that included the catchphrases of their corresponding characters.

She wrote: “Guess who I had lunch with today….I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends”

Lisa Kudrow, who appeared in the sitcom as Phoebe Buffay, couldn’t keep herself calm after seeing her former co-workers and commented: “Lucky lucky. #beautifulpeople.”

Two times Emmy winner Eric Stonestreet also marked his presence in the comment section, saying: “High quality content!”

After starring in Friends, Cox continued her career and appeared in various television projects.

Perry, however, didn’t reappear on the big screen and kept himself away from public gatherings due to his health and drug addiction problems.

Last year in August, Perry underwent gastrointestinal perforation, due to which he wasn’t even able to move and sit upright. For almost three months, he remained completely bedridden.

A source wrote at the time: “Matthew was very sick when he was hospitalized; his condition was very serious. A gastrointestinal surgery is very complex, and the healing can be complicated.”

This isn’t the first time Friends characters have reunited with each other.

Jennifer Aniston, who portrayed Rachel Green in the series, joined Instagram last month and shared a heartwarming photo of the reunion of the entire crew: Perry, Cox, Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Kudrow, and David Schwimmer.

“And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM ??,” the co-founder of Echo Films, 50, captioned her first-ever photo on Instagram.

Aniston left a teaser for Friends’ fans saying that the crew will be coming up with ‘something’ that certainly will not be a reboot.

Last month, Ellen DeGeneres asked her close friend Aniston about that ‘something’ while hosting the Friends’ star in her show.

“So this is his question for you, and everyone’s question, is there going to be a reunion?” Ellen asked Aniston.

“Like a reboot? No,” said Aniston. “Listen, we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying.”

“We’re working on something,” she added. “I don’t want to lead people on.”

Just two days after appearing in The Ellen Show, Aniston left a similar statement while speaking to Stephen Colbert at his show.
