Cristiano Ronaldo Bought The Most Expensive Flat Ever Sold In Lisbon


Cristiano Ronaldo bought the most expensive flat located next to the Eduardo VII Park in Lisbon.

He paid £6million($7.86m) for the property and it includes a gym and indoor swimming pool.

The 34-year-old footballer purchased the flat in the Portuguese capital last year but the news has only recently surfaced. He recently sold a mansion to his former Real Madrid team-mate Pepe, located in the Geres area of northern Portugal.

His luxurious house includes a spa, a swimming pool, a gym, as well as three large bedrooms. Ronaldo’s neighbor Elizabeth who is known as Betty said about the footballer’s lifestyle: “A lot of silence, no parties. I’ve never seen cars pass by our private road.”

“I often see him at the wheel of a Rolls-Royce. We see him pass every day, with tinted windows. But in the garage of his house he also has sports cars, like a Lotus.”

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo opened up about his struggling days. Piers Morgan has indicated that the woman who came to Cristiano Ronaldo’s rescue when he was a starving child may have been found.

Ronaldo used to wait outside a McDonald’s restaurant because he was too poor to buy burgers for himself. A group of women came to help him and handed out food to Ronaldo and his hungry friends, he recalled the name ‘Edna’ for one of them.

He told Morgan: “We were a little hungry. We have a McDonald’s next to the stadium, we knocked on the door and asked if they had any burgers.”
