Crowd at Glastonbury Delighted By Surprise Presence of Sir Attenborough

At an event as diverse and massive as Glastonbury, it is certain that no act has the power to please every single person.

Nonetheless, if the stage could ever be left to someone who has the ability to unite the crowd, then it is only Sir David Attenborough.

The national treasure surprised the crowd by making an appearance on the Pyramid Stage, crucially serving as a loosening up act for Kylie Minogue.

As the song of whale echoed out across the speakers, shots of marine life were portrayed on screen. This was before the 93-year-old legend took to the stage and got a rapturous round of applause exactly the way he deserves.

After showing gratitude to the crowd, he referred to Blue Planet II and the effect it had on raising awareness about the damage that is caused by plastic pollution to marine life.

He then went on to declare a new documentary that is only great news for his fans.

Attenborough explained that there is only one-third of the Earth that we occupy all the time, that is, the land. He added that this land contains seven continents, each of which has its own marvelous animals, mammals, birds, and creatures of their own kinds. These continents, according to him, have their own glory and problems.

In addition, he said that they have been making a documentary on a series of those things for the past 4 years – these things are about the 7 completely different continents.

Sir David told the crowd that the documentary, Seven Worlds One Continent, begins later this year. On this statement, there was a slightly muted applause as the crowd got confused with the nonsensical title.

Realizing the error, Attenborough corrected himself by telling people that the name of the documentary is Seven Worlds One Planet.

With this, he left the stage as the crowd cheered and greeted him with a huge round of applause.
