The world of technology, definitely would not have known about the concept of cut, copy and paste if Larry Tesler was not there, who passed away a few days back.

He was only 74 years old.

Tesler was born in America and gradually came in the global limelight as one of the finest computer scientists. Had he not invented the concept of cut, copy and paste, this world of technology would have been meaningless. 

Before showing his caliber as a data scientist Mr. Larry had also worked with famous companies like Amazon, Apple, Yahoo, and few others. 

Now everybody would like to satisfy their curiosity to know how all he discovered this tool of cut, copy and paste.

He invented this concept after he joined the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), an offshoot of Xerox in 1973 and the concept of cut copy and paste came into play.

This has actually helped a lot of people in carrying out each of their computer-related tasks in a hassle-free manner.

Later on, he collaborated with his teammate Tim Mott and developed a mouse-driven graphical user interface and named it Gypsy. This tool was actually considered to be the first format of the modern-day computer. 

Also, this genius worked in Apple continuously for 17 years from 1980-1997 while managing certain kinds of posts there like as a Chief Scientist of Apple, AppleNet’s Vice President, etc.

However, this scholar has spent his final years in doing a couple of consulting jobs. Tesler also co-founded his first company named as Stage cast Software.

This organization has helped millions of children to learn about programming concepts.

Hopefully, the next few decades will also get the maximum benefits of Tesler’s concept of cut, copy, and paste, but with the death of a computer scientist like Larry Tesler, the world of technology has definitely encountered an irreparable loss.
