There was an unfortunate incident which took place with the mama duck as her babies fell in the drain during a storm on Mother’s day.
Patrick Faber, the police officer, helped each duckling to come out of the drain and reunite with their mother. He pulled out each duckling very patiently so that they don’t suffer more inside the drain.
When the ducklings hatch from the eggs and are new to this world, they follow their mother wherever she goes. There are times when the mother duck crosses the drains and pass through it, but because of the spaces in between the duckling fall inside.
The Rochester Animal Control claims that they did a big duckling rescue operation this month as there are a lot of similar cases which keep taking place.
As we all know, the mother duck won’t be able to get her babies out of the drain, and that’s why it’s us humans who can help them with that.
So if you ever see anything similar happening around you then help the babies to come out of the drain and be with their mothers. It was a very heartwarming moment for the mother to reunite with her babies on Mother’s day.
It was one of the cutest things that you can see on the most special occasion like mother’s day. A simple tip to rescue the ducklings is to lift up the drain gate with the help of crowbar and then grab one duckling at a time with a bucket or kitchen strainer.
The police officer rescued seven ducklings out of the drain, and they all ran towards their mother. It was really great to see them get reunited with their mother on mother’s day and quacking so happily.
