Handwritten Letter From Devastated Dad Begged Public To Help Authorities Track Down His Missing Daughter

LA County Sherriff’s Department has received a handwritten letter from an extremely upset father of a 31-year-old lady who’s been missing since Monday, July 29, 2019.

The letter addressed the general public, requesting them to offer whatever help they can in finding his daughter.

On July 29, cops were alerted to a domestic violence report at a residence, owned by Robert Camou. Upon reaching the residence, the responding units couldn’t find Camou or his girlfriend Amanda Custer.

What made the situation even more alarming were the clear signs of physical assault the responding officers found at the Los Angeles property, including fresh stains of blood.

Custer and Camou had been dating for the last couple of years but their relationship was anything but peaceful.

Lt. Scott Hoglund said the local police department had received a number of reports of domestic violence during the time the couple had been together.

According to the investigators, it is highly likely that Camou placed his girlfriend in the boot of his gray Toyota Prius and headed outside of San Bernardino, towards Mount Baldy.

Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the LA county Sherriff Department tried to clarify the intensity of the situation in a press release, saying: “Although the extent of Victim Custer’s injuries are unknown, Homicide Detectives believe she may be in grave danger.”

Thankfully, the police have managed to arrest Camou in connection with the disappearance of his girlfriend.

Just hours before being arrested, Camou went to King Eddy Saloon where an open mike night was happening.

A shocking video clip from the Saloon shows him rapping about murdering and burying a woman, supposedly his girlfriend. He rapped: “I killed my b—- and buried that b—- in the f—ing dirt.”

After rapping these ‘verses,’ he told the audience that he was being looked for by the police and it would be good for him to stop.

“I think that everyone in the bar that heard him kinda stopped,” Michael Moore, the person who recorded the video remarked about the incident.

Camou was found by the police, sleeping in the rear seat of his car on the morning of Tuesday, July 30, about half a mile from the bar where the video was shot.

Cops had to use tear gas to incapacitate him and force him to surrender. At the time, he was alone in the car, with no trace of Custer.

Moore who shot the video is fully confident that the person arrested by the police was the same one he recorded on his camera.

Camou is now in police custody, with no possibility of bail, and has been charged with “unrelated burglary and domestic violence.”

According to the investigators, Custer’s dad Rick took a flight to LA to help search his daughter. The distraught dad also wrote a touching, handwritten note asking for help from the public in locating his missing daughter.

“This is coming from Rick Custer, the dad of Amanda Custer,” says the letter, written on August 4 by the heartbroken father.

“I and the rest of her family are asking anybody in the Mt. Baldy and Lytle Creek areas to be aware of your surroundings and keep your eyes open at this time, as we are all still searching for Amanda.
