Do you remember when your children asked you whether the tooth fairy and Santa Claus really existed?
For me, it was one of the most difficult times.
I did not know what to do. For that second, which felt like million years, I debated whether to tell them the truth, or to lie.
Instead of shocking them with the truth, however, this dad did something unbelievable to make sure his son keeps believing in these magical characters.
This is Daniel Hashimoto, who has two beautiful children: a 5-year-old son named James, and his sister named Sophia.

When James lost his tooth, he asked Daniel to help him set up a video camera. He said that he wanted to see how and when the tooth fairy comes to give him money.
And Daniel happily helped him – he even made sure that it would record James through the night.
Then, when James went to sleep, it was Daniel’s time to do some magic in order to create the tooth fairy.
Luckily for James, Daniel is known for creating videos using Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI), which is applying computer graphics to create images. This is how we see the impossible come true in the movies and TV shows.
In other words, Daniel knew everything about creating a life-like fairy and adding it into the footage.
The next morning, James and his sister Sophia was more than eager to watch the tape.

And it was finally the time to show them: James and Sophia were so excited to see a small, glowing fairy in the video.
As you could see from the video below, the fairy opens the window by James’ bed, and flies to him. The fairy then lifts the pillow and places something under it.
Next, the fairy picks up the tooth and flies away.
Because of their dad, James and Sophia are definitely going to believe in these mythical characters a little while longer.
What did you think of the video that Daniel made?
