A heartless father from Virginia delivered his former wife and estranged daughter their last child support payment by dumping 80,000 pennies in their front yard.
The shocking footage of the incident went viral after the home’s security camera caught a glimpse of the man in action, carrying out the jaw-dropping delivery. While the father remains unidentified, he was clearly outlined in the video as parking in front of the home with his trailer and then going about with his dumping action.
The total amount, which adds up to just $800 appeared to be more of a publicity stunt than anything else with many people questioning why he even went through the trouble of collecting coins when he could have just given cash.point 302 |
But it appeared as if the man wanted to make a lasting impression that his former wife and estranged 18-year-old daughter would remember forever.point 122 | 1
In the unique surveillance footage captured from the home security camera, the man’s ex-wife can be heard asking, “What are you doing, what are you dumping on my yard?”
On that very note, the man makes an attempt to respond by saying, “This is your final child support payment.” Just seconds later, the father from Virginia sits inside his vehicle and then drives off immediately before the woman exclaims, “Are you serious!”
The incident left the 18-year-old daughter not amused. Her name is Sanford who is currently a senior that attends Deep Run High School. She went on to add how she hasn’t spoken a word with her father for years. Therefore, this incident appeared to be nothing but a formality.
“He is not trying to embarrass just my mom,” she adds. “It’s also very sad and upsetting for both me and my sister,” she went on to explain. Sanford says that the incident left her lost for words. It was indeed a very sad, damaging, and hurtful ordeal for the entire family.
“The actions of your parents will always have an effect on you!” she said.
