Dads usually say they don’t want to have an animal in the house but they immediately fall in love with pets.
This foxy story is about a father who became friends with a wild fox.
His daughter, Amy MacMillan, shared that her father has already ‘lost the plot’ as he loves his new pal so much that he is actually giving it extravagant meals!
Aside from that, he made a detailed feeding schedule to keep the fox happy and well-fed while he’s on a vacation.
Amy wrote on Twitter: “Ma dad has lost the plot (crying emoji) he’s been feeding a random fox in the front garden for months and has actually pinned up written instructions on how av to feed it whilst he’s on holiday (crying emoji).”
She added: “Bought him a fox keyring as part of his Christmas as a joke “ in case he misses it whilst he’s away” and he’s just send me this (crying emoji and fox emoji) a canny.”
Amy’s father feeds the fox two meals per day. For dinner, the choices are chicken drumsticks or chicken, when another selection of dog stick chews with biscuits for supper.
One Twitter user commented: “Awww, your Dad’s sweet,to make sure his fox friend still gets fed properly while he’s away.”
Another wrote: “my husband feeds the fox at work for the past 20 years. Your dad has a great big hart that could go around the world.”
