Adam is the father of two young girls and like any parent, he would do anything for them, including transforming a bedroom into a treehouse.
Adam lives in Vermont with his two children and works as a web developer. You may not think he has carpentry skills, but wait until you see how he created this special hangout for his daughters as a Christmas present.
While it sounds like a huge project, he actually made the change in just 2-3 days. And just like magic, he created a special new room for his kids. Bonus: he also does it on a limited budget.

I remember how enchanting treehouses were when I was a kid. I always wanted one to climb on and swing around and hide in with my closest friends. The best part of having one in your bedroom is that you can use it regardless of the weather. And these lucky girls get to sleep in it!
The video shows a time-lapse of Adam building the structure. He places two twin mattresses end-to-end and lofts them off the ground with fake trees flanking both sides, creating the signature treehouse look.
There’s a hammock above the beds that the kids can climb on. Below the beds is a small pace lit with rope lights that the kids can crawl through. Stuffed animals fill each space, making it perfect for the two youngsters.

Videos likes these make me believe that even with a limited budget, anyone can create whimsy for their children as long as they have a little bit of creativity and a few hours of time to spare.
While the work he does isn’t exactly easy for someone who has never built a bed before, Adam proves that it’s not impossible to make something that kids will really appreciate. He demonstrates the entire process so that other parents can be inspired by his work and make something similar.
It’s no surprise that Adam has garnered many fans with his handyman skills.
