Happily married couples enjoy the company of their partner.
Both partners are equally important and responsible for the success of any relationship. Admiring and helping each other decides how good and how long the relationship will work.
Parents often look back and wish they would have done a few things differently. Ted Gonder, a proud dad of 3, posts a viral letter about the things he would have told his “childless self.”
Ted advises the new fathers by sharing his experience and this post is a reminder to all the husbands about how should they positively participate in a relationship.
Ted is now 29 years old, married with Franziska, and both are proud parents of 3 kids.
Ted explains that he would have written to his childless 24 years old self about how to be a supportive husband during the “becoming parents” phase. Ted’s post has gone viral in no time and has got more than 71k likes and 58k shares.
According to Ted, “Help your partner recover”. As wife carries a baby in her belly for 9 months, being a husband, you should also carry baby on your belly for some time.
It will strongly bond your relationship with your child. Do not forget to “get on diaper duty”, as it will help your wife to lessen some of her burden off her shoulders. The more helpful you would be with your wife, the more strength and love you will feel in your relationship.
Moreover, “Show you appreciation with simple gestures and always be there for her”. As we all know that both the pre-birth and post-birth phase is full of transformation for a mom.
That is why, during that phase, being a husband, it is your duty to support your wife as much as you can. Last but not least “always remind her that she is literally a superhero”. You can remind her of times when she achieved goals in the past.
Ted’s wife, Franziska also replied to this letter and said that “Arguing” is part of a relationship; the thing is to learn and grow from arguments. She believes that both partners should invest in each other. She explains, “Love is a verb and never a subject”.
