A dance group named the Rockettes of Radio City has taken the Internet by storm after a performance of the group dressed up as toy soldiers went viral online.
The video shows the thirty-six dancers wearing white pants, red shirt and plumed hats performing an impressive routine.
They fall in a domino-like effect and their synchronization is beyond amazing.
A video of their performance was posted online and it instantly went viral. The video received thousands of likes and comments.
One user commented on the video: ‘Saw this last night, the entire show was spectacular, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!’.
Another said: ‘Aside from the kick line this is my favorite part of the Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular’ while another added: Everyone needs to see the rockettes at least once in their lifetime! I watched it a few years ago n it was amazing’.
One user wrote: ‘Oh I remember seeing this before, it was actually really interesting. These guys definitely deserve more appreciation’ while another said: ‘I’d just love to see this someday’.
The way they fall in their routine is amazing. Christmas Spectacular Director and Choreographer, Julie Branam tell how they fall so perfectly.
She says: “It starts by having someone rock up on their heels and start to go back. You raise your hands up, slide your hands through, and open your arms. Their feet have to be completely lined up because you don’t want the fall to go one way or another because someone could get hurt.”
According to their website, the Rockettes have appeared at Radio City Music Hall in hundreds of stage spectaculars, and have participated in many historic and memorable events—like joining the USO and traveling abroad to entertain the troops and support wartime effort, and performing at the inauguration of the 43rd president of the United States, George W.point 411 |
