The first star from Abby’s Ultimate Dance competition, Zackery Torres has recently come out as transgender, despite being assigned as a male at birth.
The news shocked plenty of fans and followers who found it hard to digest that piece of news that hit the airwaves on Sunday.
According to media reports, the former reality star shared the news via an update over TikTok, speaking in detail about the entire transitioning process and how they would now be referred to by a number of pronouns via a new video clip.
“I have now realized how I have not posted anything at all on TikTok regarding my life, since the start of December. Therefore, he’s a life update for you all, I am transitioning.”
The star shed light upon what exactly that meant and how the transitioning process was going to ensue. “It means that I am transgender, in case you did not know.” In the same way, Zackery mentioned how the pronouns to be used would include ‘they/she.’
On the other hand, the star took to Twitter to mention how they would now be listed as a Trans Non-binary individual.
The news was filmed in the form of a video clip where the star stood outside donning a powder blue crop top, under a white toned unbuttoned shirt. The collar was popped up too, alongside a black-hued skirt.
The star’s short-length hair was reportedly tied in the style of a bun, giving off the impression of a neat and tidy look, not to mention the striking lavender-toned nails.
“I am also so excited to be back to posting on TikTok over the next few days,” exclaimed the ex-reality star.
Zackery has been known for a stint performance that took place over the first season of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition. This featured Dance Mom’s Abby Lee as one of the notable judges too.
