If you still didn’t watch Dead To Me first season, please go on Netflix and watch it.
It’s funny, it’s touching and full of twists.
The good news is production has kicked off for season two of Dead to Me, and it is confirmed by star Christina Applegate, who posted a photo to Twitter showing her holding hands with co-star Linda Cardellini at a table read.
The black comedy was a big hit and viewers praised it for the unique way to portray the subject of grief.
The reaction was so positive that it wasn’t long before Netflix announced a second season.
Fans are already excited for the upcoming second season with one person writing on Applegate’s post to say: “Amazing. You two are so brilliant. I can’t wait for season two!”
A second added: “I binged Dead to Me in two days and now I feel lost. Season two needs to hurry.”
A third wrote: “Season two is underway! I still maintain that Dead to Me is the best show to come out of 2019. Prove me wrong (you can’t).”
So, what will be new in the second season? Well, plot details are scarce. If you remember how last season ended, it could see them having to deal with the dead body of Judy’s ex-boyfriend Steve after Jen seemingly shot him.
Creator Liz Feldman has promised the second season will get pretty dark.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “Just like the rest of the show, it’s not exactly what you think it’s going to be.
“There’s an evening of the score and there’s a re-balancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal.
“This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So, suffice to say, there will be more darkness.”
There’s no official release date for season two has confirmed yet, but season one is on Netflix right now.
