President Joe Biden recently addressed the nation where he referred to the chaotic Afghan withdrawal as an extraordinary success.

The Presdient began his speech in a defiant manner, explaining how he simply couldn’t have begun the evacuation process at an earlier date, even if he wanted to. In the same way, Biden took great pride in adding how 90% of Americans were rescued from war-torn Kabul, despite more than 100 still remaining in Afghanistan.

Biden spoke very confidently about all the decisions he made during the US withdrawal, defending each decision with sheer boldness.

However, it was not shocking to see how Biden was quick to put the blame on Donald Trump as well as local soldiers for the chaotic scenes that many of us witnessed in the recent past. This includes the immediate Taliban takeover that took place in a span of a week.

“By the moment I came into power as the president of the United States, the Taliban had already begun displaying some of its stronger military stances, ever since the year 2001,” the President explained.

Biden also hailed all 120,000 evacuees who were evacuated before the last flight of the US departed Kabul for good, bringing the war against Afghanistan to an end after nearly 20 years.

The President vowed to assist those American citizens that were still stranded in Afghanistan, which was similar to his previous statements he made on how he would be requiring assistance from the Taliban for that move. However, Biden was quick to admit how those still stranded had been cautiously advised to leave.

Meanwhile, Biden went on to argue how the world had become a different place ever since US forces invaded Afghanistan, which was nearly two decades ago, right after the tragic attacks that occurred on 9/11.

Right after his bold speech, the President also made it clear how he would not be giving any answers to reporters who shouted out questions towards him.
