A delivery driver was caught on security camera stealing food from its intended recipient after taking a photo as proof of her delivery.

The incident came to light after a DoorDash customer shared their security footage in which the deliverywoman is seen walking off with their food.

“Did you think cameras didn’t exist?? Hope DoorDash fires you,” the angry customer, who is known as @barbeed0ll on TikTok, wrote.

In the video, the delivery driver is seen walking up to the front door of the customer’s home before placing the order on the ground and taking a photo of it. After securing proof of her delivery, the woman picks up the food package before walking away with it.

After the video went viral and racked up millions of views, people slammed the delivery driver for cheating the system and stealing from customers.

As others have also pointed out, delivery drivers like this one cast a shadow on those doing their job in a good and honest way.

“People like this ruin it for other dashers,” one person wrote.

Following the incident, LADbible confirmed that a DoorDash spokesperson told them the company was working to identify the delivery driver in the video and remove them from the platform.

“We have zero tolerance for such inappropriate behavior, and are actively working to identify the Dasher and will immediately deactivate from the platform,” the representative told LADbible.

“We sincerely regret that this incident fell short of the experience we strive to give our customers every day, and are reaching out to the customer to support.”
