Pets are a source of happiness and enjoyment in our lives.
They give break to our dull and busy routine. Be it a cat, dog or any other pet they constantly make us joyful but people do not care about them.
Most of these beautiful creatures are forsaken and mistreated by us.
People tend to buy pets and leave them for wandering. They do not take care of the pets they even do not pay heed to their food and health.
So, in the end, these pets are shifted to shelters where they live for a long time and wait for their permanent homes.
But alas even at shelter homes they have to fight back because of their prevailing conditions.
Good and bad people are always there. Leslie went to Asheville Humane Society and asked for the dogs with special needs and living in the society for a long time.
She wanted them as pets and it was a surprising move for the staff of the society.
The workers at the society work so hard with these animals and that too for a long time.
The workers who had worked with such animals were aware of them so they brought Brutus and Sam.
The issue with Brutus was that he had an anxiety issue and he could not be left alone, on the other hand, Sam had health issues and was already adopted for a short time but then he was returned back due to his health.
Most of the public who come to shelter homes prefer the animals that have no medical issues and are perfectly fit.
Nobody came to provide a foster home to Brutus and Sam. It was the undying will of the staff of the animal shelter that unlike other animals they will shift them to their permanent homes very soon.
So Leslie just came as a savior and adopted these abandoned animals.
This was a novel experience for the workers they decided to capture this moment in a video and uploaded it on the social media which received a tremendously positive response.
Leslie explained how they lost a huge number of pets and then she and her daughters vowed to take care of the abandoned animals. This is such a great step on behalf of Leslie.
