The daughter of Hollywood star Denise Richards has made concerning claims about her mom and stepfather as she revealed she was trapped in an abusive household.
Sami Sheen, the daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, has surprised the world as she opened up about her upbringing and claimed her mother and stepfather, Aaron Phypers, made her feel “insanely depressed.”
As the 17-year-old, who has since presumably moved in with her father Charlie, added, she only learned to love herself after dropping out of high school and moving out of the “hell house.”
“1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school,” Sami wrote in her TikTok video caption.
She added: “Now: finally moved out of that hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happily single, full of self love, and dropped out of highschool.”
After the clip went viral, it was soon made private. While the teenager failed to reveal where she is staying at this moment, it is believed that she might be living with her biological dad, Charlie Sheen.
Speaking about his daughter, Charlie told PageSix that the two are having a ball and that she is amazing.
“Sam’s amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come!” he told the publication through his representative.
Meanwhile, an insider close to Denise Richards suggested that the 17-year-old moved out after refusing to follow her mother’s rules.
“Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting. She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. She didn’t want to follow the rules,” the source said as they defended Denise from her daughter’s allegations.
“Charlie didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad. Denise loves her daughter very much and she’s saddened by the situation.”
