A cleaning company has by far donated over 8,000 toilet paper rolls to elderly and disabled people who cannot get the supplies because of coronavirus panic buying.
As people in Australia continue to attack toilet paper aisles at the supermarkets everywhere in the country, Dexter’s Cleaning’s owner decided to give $5000 worth of toilet paper rolls for free to those in need.
Thirty-two-year-old Dexter Gordon said that he had heard about the need for rolls of toilet paper as a part of the coronavirus care package for disabled and elderly through Fox FM, a local radio station.
He noted that he heard the presenters were seeking companies to donate to those who are struggling, which made him send his remaining stock.
Presenters Bryon Cook and Fifi Box gushed about Dexter Gordiong’s generosity on the social media platform Instagram.
They posted images of piled up toilet paper rolls that were donated by Dexter on their Instagram and praised Dexter for his kind deed.
They thanked Dexter’s Cleaning for such a Nobel act. Listeners can nominate those who need to obtain a care package via the radio website.
While Dexter had never sold rolls of toilet paper on his website prior to coronavirus panic-buying set it. Further, he described toilet paper rolls hoarding as manic as well as decided to make it his business’s part to help others.
Dexter revealed that he got another order and started online store so that individuals could help look after people around them.
The crisis is so bad that supermarkets have imposed limits on rice, tissues, flour, dry pasta, and hand sanitizer. The loo roll crisis has forced Woolworths, Aldi, and Coles to crackdown as well as impose a 1-pack per shop restriction.
