Korea was divided into two countries – North Korea and South Korea – in 1945.
Since then, the relations between these two nations have been extremely cold. It wasn’t until September last year that the leaders of the two countries agreed to collaborate on a number of activities.
Although democratic South Korea and communist North Korea are neighbors, their people live in a totally different way. The drastic difference between two nations living so close to each other inspired photographer Ed Jones to capture it and share it with people across the globe.
In the photos below, you can see that the lifestyle in these two countries differs in everything ranging from clothes to interiors to environments. Their soul, however, is undoubtedly the same.
