Every now and then, something sensational and out of the box comes in front of us on the internet.
However, today’s post is something that has melted the heart of many as a three years old child has come up with a song called “Dinosaurs in Love”
Fenn Rosenthal, the writer, and singer of this unique song is just 3 years old girl, who is the daughter of musician Tom Rosenthal. She recorded this song with the help of her dad and this recording was posted by Tom on his Twitter account.
“Dinosaurs in Love” is a 2020 song by Fenn Rosenthal, the three-year-old daughter of musician Tom Rosenthal.
The recording went viral in January 2020 after Rosenthal shared it on his Twitter account, and it was viewed more than 600,000 times in the day after it was posted.
According to Fenn’s father, he genuinely could not tell why her daughter wanted to do a song about dinosaurs.
Moreover, she also has no particular affiliation with dinosaurs but somehow she came up with such lyrics that won the hearts of many around the globe.
“Dinosaurs in Love” is Fenn’s first solo song; the melodies and lyrics came from Fenn, guided by her father. It was recorded in the Rosenthal’s home recording studio.
According to CNN, the song’s lyrics “start on a high note but ends with extinction. “Classic FM described the song as “a quality opus that stands up to established rules of music theory”.
Jimmy Fallon covered the song on his 30 January 2020 show. One day later, the song was released on Spotify, with all proceeds going to the charities WIRES and Three Sisters.
People on twitter and social media appreciated the work of this little child and have enjoyed this unique performance.
Its devastating plot twist has also made a lot of people cry, judging by the response to Rosenthal’s viral tweet of the song. Rosenthal also told that this song, “Dinosaurs in Love” came organically and is written by Fenn with the help of her sister who is only 6 years old.
The recording scene described by Fenn’s father is also amazing, “She’s by the microphone, she’s got the headphones on, she starts singing, and she does as much as she can,” he said.
“And then eventually after she’s done enough little bits of it, it kind of all fits together,” Rosenthal added.
“Sometimes we have little breaks. … She gets bored, she wanders off, she comes back in.” According to Rosenthal, nothing is altered in the song, although it was done in a couple of sections.
The possible guess of Rosenthal about why Fenn choose dinosaurs is that they have been to the Natural History Museum a few times. Rosenthal said he wouldn’t mind if Fenn followed in his footsteps to become a musician, but “she probably already achieved more than me in one day than I have in my whole career.”
